Leon Knight made a goalscoring return for Albion yesterday.
The Seagulls striker warmed up for Sunday's Withdean showdown against Crystal Palace by scoring from the spot as Albion Reserves won 2-1 at Aldershot.
It was his first appearance since a fit of pique over being substituted in the last home game against Wolves saw him axed for the trip to Stoke.
Knight earned the penalty on the hour after being fouled by Jason Milletti. It cancelled out an Ahmed Deen effort in the 20th minute and substitute Joe Gatting hit the winner from a Jason Dodd pass 15 minutes from time.
Dodd, out of the first team since August because of ankle surgery, completed 90 minutes as did Albert Jarrett, sidelined for the last three games with foot trouble. Charlie Oatway played 45 minutes.
Albion have 600 tickets for home supporters available on Sunday following the opening of the new stand at the west end of Withdean. They are available by phone on 01273 776992 or to personal callers at 5 Queen's Road, Brighton.
There are also single tickets available in the South Stand Centre. Tickets will only be sold to supporters already on the club's database.
Albion Reserves: Blayney, Dodd, T Elphick, G Elphick, Mayo, McPhee, Carey (Chamberlain), Oatway (Fraser), Jarrett, Turienzo (Gatting), Knight . Unused substitutes: Taylor, Kuipers.
