Firmly established as one of the UK's most successful comics, ex-boxer Lee Evans brings his latest tour to Brighton.

Famous for his very physical brand of comedy and sweating to the extreme, his disarming charm and tendency to play the underdog have drawn comparisons with Norman Wisdom.

After starting out at the famous Comedy Store in London, Evans's big break came in 1993 when he took the Edinburgh Festival by storm and he won the prestigious Perrier Award.

A spate of sell-out tours and TV shows followed and Evans is even one of the rare UK comedians to have a successful film-acting career.

He appeared in Something About Mary alongside Cameron Diaz and Ben Stiller as well as in the box office hit Mouse Hunt and The Fifth Element with Bruce Willis and Gary Oldman.

His animated performances and breathless sense of humour have also won him scores of fans, making him the first solo comedian to play Wembley Arena for two sell-out nights, performing to 20,000 people.

Starts 7.30pm. Tickets cost £25. Call 0870 900 9100
