I was under the impression that Lewes District Council and Norman Baker had decided to accept the findings of the Falmer/East Brighton Stadium public enquiry.

Was this only if they received a favourable decision?

I now see they are considering a judicial review (The Argus, November 11).

Does the council not think it is about time it stopped wasting the money of Lewes district residents, having already spent about £160,000 on this process?

A judicial review could cost in excess of £2 million. Does Lewes need to raise its council tax rates by more than ten per cent or perhaps cut a service or two?
