Can Brighton be saved from gridlock (The Argus, January 6)?
What on earth did The Argus mean - it is already gridlocked.
Brighton and Hove City Council hasn't got a clue as to how to even ease the situation. And people today have virtually forgotten why they have been given legs.
When you take your laden shopping basket to the nearest bus stop and when the bus arrives, you get no help from the drivers, especially if you also have prams and children.
Maybe Brighton needs more parking space and at not such a high price.
The gridlock on London Road at weekends is horrendous.
When I moved here, Brighton was a lovely place to visit but now I think it's just dreadful - full of moneygrabbing people, ASBOs and - the final straw - the all-night drinking.
Around St James's Street in the early hours has to be seen to be believed.
Brighton now belongs to young people and is certainly no longer safe or pleasant for adults.
I hope lovely Rottingdean never becomes the same.
