Roger Hudson's criticises Lewes MP Norman Baker's contention that it was outrageous John Prescott enjoyed the Albion's hospitality when he was invited to the Hull match.
In fact, I suspect it was a bad move by Prescott and the Albion because it smacked of a favour being repaid.
Mr Hudson also condemned Mr Baker's request for an early-day motion on the proposed stadium.
Didn't local Labour MPs also request the same thing? Mr Baker is surely entitled to avail himself of the same privileges as a member of the Commons.
The site is next to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and, as such, should be off limits.
Falmer has already suffered the building of two universities and a dual carriageway and should be left to enjoy what is left of its rural tranquillity.
Toads Hole Valley, a natural amphitheatre, is an ideal place for a stadium and is apparently available (although, perhaps, with strings attached).
It is an area already given over to development. The necessary infrastructure and transport links are also already there.
