M Boyask (Letters, January 23) from Hove makes some interesting observations about pseudo science.
However, carbon dioxide is measurable in ice cores from the poles. Since the beginning of the industrial revolution this has increased almost year on year.
Equally, meteorological records can determine that the average daytime temperature in the UK has increased by a degree or so.
Are they related or simply a coincidence?
If they are related, we should be taking responsible actions.
If they aren't, we should still be worried about sea level rises, water shortages, ozone layer depletion and so on. Science may not have found the cause.
Which is the more disconcerting scenario?
