My faith in human nature has been restored. I was stumbling home with my boyfriend along Dyke Road, Brighton, when a car pulled over and the driver asked if we needed a lift.
Both of us were relieved to be able to just sit and watch the world go by in our drunken haze - but also amazed that this person drove us home for absolutely nothing.
And I am sorry neither of us was in a fit state to truly appreciate your kindness, so I hope you get The Argus and read this "thank you".
