I am writing to express my belief that Brighton is full of unique culture blessed with origins from around the world.
Walking through the streets of Brighton and Hove, you see an array of world culture living in our beautiful city. Be it through North Laine or along Brighton's famous seafront, many different nationalities can be spotted, all with different traditions and religions that we accept with gratitude.
Our city is blessed with contrasting backgrounds and ethnicity that we must cherish and learn from.
Living in Brighton for 19 years, I was none the wiser - I thought this was the norm and everywhere had contrasting cultural personalities.
Now a student in Leeds, I realise how unique Brighton is. It is a wonderful, accepting city with something happening to suit everyone's tastes.
Brighton is a niche city with energy and life and there is no other place like it. Everywhere you look, you are sure to find something new and exciting, from the pubs and clubs, the fashion and graffiti and the way people express themselves.
Brighton will always have this fresh, vibrant, youthful perception.
Our city is unique.
