It seems the Government can get away with theft, because that is exactly what inheritance tax is.

Why should the Government have the right to take that tax from people whose parents have struggled to buy their houses with money which has been taxed already?

Equally, if an elderly person has to be cared for, why should their property be sold in order to pay for their care when other people who have not bothered to save and buy their own homes get the same care for nothing.

I know a lot of people are not able to own properties but there are more who could own their own properties but have never bothered.
