During the past three months, my sister has been a patient at the Royal Sussex County Hospital and the Rhienwert Centre at Haywards Heath.
I have been a patient at the Princess Royal at Haywards Heath and the Victoria Hospital at East Grinstead.
Both of us have been completely overwhelmed by the care and kindness shown to us in all the hospitals.
My sister, who is 90 and hasn't been in hospital since she had scarlet fever at the age of 12, said it seemed like staying in five-star hotels.
Everywhere was spotless, the choice of food excellent and the kindness of all the staff unforgettable.
