We support the police in asking a shop to remove T-shirts carrying offensive slogans from public view.
Like them, we received a complaint about one T-shirt in particular and it did cause us some concern.
While it is true Brighton has a reputation for fun, this T-shirt was intended to be worn by a young child and that aspect in particular caused offence.
As a city, we have a duty of care to our children, and that includes shopkeepers.
