Regarding our water, I have experienced the same metallic aftertaste as Mrs Shepherd and Ms O'Keefe (Letters, May 19 & 23).
I have written to the director of Southern Water and asked why this should be but, of course, had no reply. I notice he is based in Bristol, where I suspect the water is probably drinkable.
