How lovely for David Walker from Lancashire to wish us well with our new treacle mine, recently opened in Polegate, near Eastbourne (Letters, May 19).
I am glad many visitors from the North will not be disappointed to see this new wonder, although I must point out it is really a Travel Inn on the Polegate roundabout, named after an old Sussex story.
