This is a message from the other side of the world.
Since my brother lives in Brighton (Hi, Grant), I access your newspaper on the internet.
It gives a fascinating glimpse of life in a land which is both far away and, at the same time, very similar to my own. Many of the things which concern you are also on our agenda.
One of the main differences is that, while there is quite a bit about Britain in our newspapers and on TV and radio, there is seldom any mention of New Zealand in your paper, except, occasionally, sport.
