Big Brother contestant Pete Stephenson has received his first nomination for eviction.

Pete, 24, from Brighton, has been hugely popular inside and outside of the house and was the only housemate not to have been nominated at all in six weeks.

But on Tuesday, Welsh teenager Glyn, who Pete has enjoyed a friendship with, selected him.

Their relationship has obviously turned sour as Glyn picked him for being "boring". The Welshman said: "He's not as much fun as he used to be."

Meanwhile Pete, who suffers from Tourette's syndrome and is the frontman of Brighton band Daddy Fantastic, has been making new friends.

He has cemented a new link with Imogen, who he previously found "dull".

He told Big Brother: "I was flattered she came up because we never really talk and we just chatted away. She was really amazing to me."

He is also impressed with new housemate Jayne, who joined the group after Aisleyne evicted her from the secret house next door.

Pete said: "It took a while for me to start talking to her but I like Jayne, she's well off her nut."
