Crawley's future will be decided tomorrow when a new owner is announced.

Administrator Rob Sadler will select the best offer after putting the crisis-club up for sale last week.

Current owners, Chas and Azwar Majeed, are believed to have made a bid to regain control before yesterday's deadline.

Four other interested parties are also thought to be in the running, including former diamond dealer John Goodwin.

Bidders must prove they can pay back all the money owed to last season's players and a significant amount of the club's other £1.4 million debts.

Crawley could go into liquidation if none of the offers meet Sadler's demands.

Chairman Azwar Majeed claims he has lined up a £60,000 two-year sponsorship deal if his company, SA Group, regain control.

But Goodwin says Reds could face being wound up if the Majeeds stay in charge.

Manager John Hollins, whose future will be in doubt if a new owner takes over, has backed the Majeeds.

He insists the club can be successful this season under the current regime, despite a ten-point penalty for going into administration.

Hollins said: "We support the chairman in charge. He has gone through some extremely difficult circumstances but we have always received support from him.

"We will be successful next season, we have done it before and we will do it again.

"Being ten points down does not faze us. I know what I can do and what I can achieve.

"When I first came here Crawley only had 16 points and we ended up getting 49 and we could have got more. Ten points is three wins and a draw, so where is the problem?"
