Thousands of young people took part in today's Children's Parade in Brighton.
About 80 schools and 4,000 children took over the streets of the city this morning with a dazzling array of floats and costumes.
The sun smiled on the parade as it wound its way from Sydney Street, through North Laine, New Road and East Street, to the seafront and Madeira Drive.
