The second Argus Angel of 2010 has been awarded to a Brian Eno performance.
The Brighton Festival guest artistic director’s album was brought to life by the I c e b r e a ke r ensemble and BJ Cole as they accompanied filmmaker Al R e i n e r t ’ s moon mission documentary.
After the film, the audience at the B r i g h t o n Dome Concert Hall was also treated to a rare and unbilled perf o r m a n c e from Eno himself.
Argus reviewer Ian Ray said: “Sumptuous and epic, with Eno’s surprise appearance thrown in, this was a real event – exactly what a festival should be about.”
