Beach-goers were treated to a seaside gig when a band broke out of a giant egg.
Members of The Myst had spent the week living in the 14ft-long structure opposite the West Pier in Brighton.
After emerging in front of a crowd of about 1,500 people they performed a oneand- a-half hour gig of tracks from their new album White Buffalo.
Band members Natasha Wilson and her brothers John and Peter took part.
Natasha said: “It was a little bit surreal, as we had gone from being with two other people in a tight enclosed space to suddenly playing in front of hundreds of people.
“It was a great experience. It took a day to adjust to living in the egg and then after a while we got into a routine. I was surprised at how quickly we adapted.”
