A dog’s head was dumped at a children’s nursery.
The grim find was made by a volunteer when she turned up to work at the Cherry Tree nursery in Brighton.
It is the latest in a string of attacks and incidents of anti-social behaviour inflicted on community projects in the Brentwood Road area.
A source at the nursery said: “A volunteer found the head in the nursery’s garden but doesn’t want to talk about it.”
Sussex Police are investigating the incident.
