They make a living out of looking like stars of sport, film and television.
But this group of lookalikes are determined to make a bid for stardom in their own right.
The Chippendoubles wowed the crowd and judges Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan, during the first round of ITV show Britain’s Got Talent.
The seven-man group stripped out of full-length robes and masks to reveal their lookalike identities - Daniel Craig, Will Smith, Mr T, Gordon Ramsay, Simon Cowell and Ricky Gervais.
The act was the brainchild of Andy Harmer – one half of the “number one Posh and Becks impersonators in the country”.
Mr Harmer, from Eastbourne, who has worked as a David Beckham double for 12 years, says the Chippendoubles are already commanding four-figure sums to perform at events.
The group has made it through to the live semi final tonight and are desperate to be voted in to perform at Saturday’s grand final.
But whether they make it or not Mr Harmer said he hoped the show would be a springboard for bigger things.
