An aircraft crashed into another plane at Shoreham Airport.

No one was injured in the accident – which happened on the ground – but the tail of a Flying Time Aviation aircraft was ripped off during the incident.

No one from the company was available to comment but it is believed its aircraft was stationary as another ploughed into the back of it.

Fire crews from Shoreham attended the scene as a precautionary measure yesterday afternoon and a spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service confirmed no one was hurt.

A spokeswoman for Shoreham Airport said could not comment as the crash was a minor incident between two privately-owned aircraft with no injuries.
