A 49-year-old man died after a car crash at Robertsbridge.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the black Peugeot 308 the man was travelling in left the A21 at Robertsbridge on Saturday, about 400 metres south of the junction with Poppinghole Lane.
The man, who was from Eastbourne, was travelling south at about 5.30pm when the car left the carriageway to the nearside.
He died at the scene. At this stage the cause of death is unknown.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw a similar vehicle in the area at the time of the incident is asked to contact Sussex Police on 0845 6070999, quoting Operation Freshbrook.
