Without wishing to speculate on the specific circumstances in which some of the city’s music venues have closed this week (The Argus, June 19), I would like to point out that joining Facebook groups or signing petitions to help save a venue once it is already under threat is pointless.
People who do this sort of thing should help these venues by patronising them instead.
Get off your computers and spend your money in these venues that apparently mean so much to you.
