Why is the simple act of throwing a bottle into a rubbish bin beyond so many people?
I’m referring to the free iced tea drinks that were being given out to the public in Western Road, Brighton, last week.
Some people didn’t even want the full ones, and dropped them on the ground as soon as they’d been given one. The bottles rolled freely around on the pavement causing a hazard. Many of the empty bottles turned up in the changing rooms of Primark.
If people are given a free drink, the least they can do is dispose of the bottle in the appropriate receptacle.
