I am trying to get pregnant and a friend advised me to buy some ovulation strips from a chemist. I’ve tried them but I can’t make any sense of the results. Some little blue lines come up on the strips, but I don’t know what they mean.
Ovulation tests are very useful for women who want to get pregnant, because they identify the “hormone surge” which occurs just before your ovaries release an egg. The idea is that, during the next 48 hours, you try to make love as often as possible. However, traditional ovulation tests are a bit difficult to read.
I’d suggest you ask your pharmacist about the new Clearblue digital kits, which simply display a smiley face when it’s time to have sex. Good luck.
