It seems odd that we as a country are in such dire financial straits but that the Government is putting up the pension age to 66, earlier than originally planned, yet men and women in France all retire at age 60.
The government there suggested raising the age to 62 and there was a national outcry. Perhaps we should look to how the French manage their country’s finances?
