Vandals set five sheds on fire and broke into six more in a crime spree at an allotment site.
Firefighters and police are investigating the blazes at the plots off Old Shoreham Road in Southwick.
The fires were reported at 1.50am.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious is asked to call Sussex Police on 0845 6070999.
