Firefighters were called out to reports of a lorry on fire in Ellen Street, Hove, last night.
The flat-bed lorry, which was full of rubbish, had been abandoned for several weeks but was set ablaze at 10.15pm.
The vehicle was totally destroyed.
No one was injured in the incident.
