A 25-year-old man from Hailsham has been arrested by police on suspicion of causing ABH after an incident in Elms Avenue on Sunday, August 22.
The man is alleged to have punched a 22-year-old man from Bexhill in the face and then head butted his 22-year-old male friend from Battle in the incident at 2.50am.
Both victims were treated at Eastbourne District General Hospital and were later released.
The victims were part of a small group walking along Elms Avenue towards Cavendish Place after leaving the Atlantis bar.
The suspect has been bailed until Monday, October 25 pending further inquiries.
