Firefighters were called out to tackle a blaze at the disused Broadfield Kennels, off the A264 near Tilgate in Crawley, last night.
Crews from across the county fought the fire, which was started deliberately at 11pm, throughout the night.
A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters had been called out to tackle blazes at the kennels "severl times" in the past few months and the latest incident was being treated as arson.
No one was injured in the latest incident.
