Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has been blamed for inspiring yobs to tip over a Reliant Robin.
Artist Lucy Sparrow said her beloved, battered and rusty three wheeler was her pride and joy before vandals turned her world – and her car – upside down.
To make matters worse, the car, which was left obstructing a road, was towed away and impounded on instructions by Sussex Police.
Ms Sparrow has blamed Clarkson, arguing it was a copycat attack following a recent episode of the BBC2 motoring programme in which the presenter turned corners sharply in a Reliant Robin so the car tipped over.
Now she is thinking of writing to the BBC demanding the corporation pays the massive release fee.
