Four homes have been flooded following a burst water main.
Emergency services were called to the properties near an industrial estate in Woolborough Lane, Crawley about 9.20am this morning.
Fire crews used inflatable boats to rescue two people from two cars after a water main burst.
Police have closed nearby Woodfield Road between the Woodside Road junction and the Woolborough Lane junction while surface water is pumped to the local water course.
Crews are still at the scene.
