Since moving from London to Brighton nearly two years ago we are now settled into Brighton life and loving it. So I thought I would list my seven wonders of Brighton. 1: The buses. You can get a bus to take you anywhere, with great drivers. 2: The people. You can walk down the road and get talking to a complete stranger and before you know you have a friend for life. 3: The seagulls. Love them or hate them, they are a great part of Brighton. 4: The weather. Sun, rain, snow, fog, high winds – you get the lot here, great. 5: The sea and the Downs, side by side. Great views, bracing air – what more could you want? 6: The Lanes and the Pavilion – something for everyone. 7: The lighting shop in Western Road. It has been closing down for ever, but still trading – a wonder in itself.
And not forgetting, of course, The Argus.
