Eastbourne Pier will host a black tie charity event to kick off British Tourism Week next month.
The Party on Pier will raise money for Help For Heroes and local charity, the Tuesday O’Hara Fund, which raises money for people with leukaemia.
This year’s tourism week is celebrating Britain’s seaside piers.
Councillor Neil Stanley, Eastbourne Borough Council cabinet member for tourism, said: “Party On The Pier promises to be a fantastic celebration of Britain's tourism industry and the brilliant role piers play in attracting visitors to destinations across the country.”
Tickets cost £50 per person or £450 for a table of ten.
