A man has been taken to hospital after suffering burns in a shed fire.
Four firefighter crews from Shoreham and Hove battled the blaze at allotments in Prince Charles Close, Southwick for around an hour from 2.30pm today.
The 2m by 3m shed was completely destroyed in the blaze.
Residents in the neighbouring Melrose Avenue were advised to stay in their homes by police officers because of fears that two 25kg LPG gas cylinders in the shed might explode.
