A man shot and injured by police will appear in court charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
Ian Cogger, 56, of Borers Arms Road, Copthorne, Crawley, suffered an injury to his hand a wrist when he was shot by officers after allegedly threatening his wife at their home on Monday November 8 last year.
Following the shooting, the Independent Police Complaints Commission launched an inquiry into the actions of the officers.
Cogger will appear at Lewes Crown Court later on this morning.
