Three men were arrested after a police chase.
Sussex Police officers noticed a car in Brighton just after 9.15am which had been flagged as wanted in connection with an investigation by the Metropolitan Police.
Officers gave chase and stopped the car in Rottingdean High Street at about 9.30am.
A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: "A vehicle reported to have been involved in an incident in London was spotted by Sussex Police in Brighton shortly after 9.15am.
"It was pursued to the High Street, Rottingdean, where it it was safely stopped at around 9.30am. Three men were arrested and taken to custody in Sussex.
"An 18-year-old man and a 22-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of taking a conveyance and a 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of taking a conveyance, going equipped and failing to stop. All three are from the E1 area of London."
