A man suffered injuries after the car he was driving hit a tree today.
The man, who has not been named, was trapped in his car after it collided with a tree in Turners Hill Road, Turners Hill, near Crawley, at 11.20am.
The South East Coast Ambulance Service, firefighters and Sussex Police attended the scene.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “We were called to the scene by paramedics.
“The man was mechanically trapped in the vehicle and had to be cut out of the car by firefighters. He has suffered injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.”
Local roads have been closed as a result of the collision.
