For nurses, police officers and firefighters, working on Christmas Day comes with the territory of working for the emergency services.
But you could not say the same for nursery workers.
A new childcare service will open on weekends, bank holidays and even December 25 in order to fit in with parents’ busy working lives.
Tiny Troopers childcare, based in Brangwyn Drive, Brighton, will be open from 7am to 6pm every day of the week.
Its owners Sarah and Philip Bentley say the move will mean that busy parents will be able to leave their children in a safe environment while they work.
