A record number of entrants took part in a half marathon on a bright but chilly day.
More than 1,250 people signed up to take part in the Eastbourne Hospitality Association Half Marathon today at 10am, which started at Princes Park and continued along the seafront to Sovereign Harbour Marina.
This year's entrants included a man who ran the course twice and one competitor who travelled from Belgium for the race.
