A man will appear in court today charged with attempting to rob a Brighton newsagents.
Stephen William Jones, 49, of Redvers Road, Brighton, has been charged with attempted robbery and possessing an offensive weapon.
Following a search of his property, Jones was charged with two further counts of possessing a weapon, namely an electronic stun gun and pepper spray.
