The True Stories Told Live (Brighton) event is on 9th March at 7.30 pm at The Ginger Dog in Kemp Town.

Last month the story club heard from: Terry Conway, who had a tough North London upbringing which included gang-style shootings and mind blowing drug trips; Eugenia Kis, who led her path through teenage pregnancy and finding the love of her lesbian life; and Sharon Lewis, who gave a moving musical tribute to her second cousin Paul Kossoff.

After a convivial break, there was a turn with Tim Fifield and his battle with chronic shyness. He also promoted his new one-man comedy show “Not What We Expected” to be performed at The Hawth Theatre, Crawley, from March 28th to 30th 2011. A taster can be found of facebook: Tim Fifield's Monologue- I'm The Daddy.

Finally, Shaun Attwood had a tough jail term in USA and now talks to UK student audiences about his jail experiences and the consequences of getting involved in drugs and crime.

The True Stories Told Live Brighton web-site gives insight and flavour, with YouTube interviews with some of the story tellers, but no videos or transcripts. There may be a radio show in the offing.
