A man is seriously ill in hospital after being stabbed in the chest.
The 42-year-old was attacked at his home in Avondale Road, Seaford, at 4.40am on Saturday.
Jonathan Bickerstaff of Gibbon Road, Newhaven, has been charged with wounding with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm.
He is due to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court this morning.
A 13-year-old and 14-year-old both from Seaford were arrested on suspicion of the same offence and bailed until 14 May.
