A motorist jumped out of his car and attacked a pedestrian as he crossed the road on his way home.
The 43-year-old man was crossing Clarendon Road, Hove at around 6pm on Friday when a driver started beeping his horn before getting out of his car and punching the pedestrian down to the ground.
The offender, who is described as white, 5ft 11ins tall, in his late 30s to early 40s, then got back into his car and continued to drive along Clarendon Road, towards Sackville Road leaving his victim with facial injuries.
