We don’t have to worry about housing benefit being reduced for pensioners (The Argus, March 5), as we have to pay in full for everything.

It is very galling when you see all pensioners on benefits getting everything paid for them. It would be lovely to get free dental treatment, glasses etc. But as we worked, we get a small pension for working all our lives and cannot claim for anything. It makes you wonder if it is better to be on benefits with no other pension, as it seems unfair to be penalised.
