Parking spaces in Brighton and Hove may be few and far between but you would have to be barking mad to try and leave your car in this space.
The tree in the centre of this bay in Shaftesbury Place, Brighton, should be enough to make most motorists realise it is a no parking zone.
However so many drivers have cheekily parked in front of the tree that Brighton and Hove City Council has been forced to paint double yellow lines – only about three feet wide. For full report, see today's Argus.
