Freezers stuffed with cannabis and tents full of plants were discovered when police investigated a burglary.
Officers uncovered two cannabis factories at addresses in Hove and Portslade.
A man was arrested and questioned before being released on bail yesterday.
At 8pm on Wednesday police were called to North Street, Portslade, and found cannabis plants arranged in two tents.
When police went to an address in Tennis Road, Hove, they found more frozen cannabis in carrier bags in a freezer along with another tent with a hydroponic lamp.
