Albion parade starts at 5.30pm today

First published in News by

Fans will line the streets today to cheer Albion's promotion-winning heroes.

The celebrations will begin this afternoon when the team is hosted by Brighton and Hove City Council at a civic reception.

The team will then travel down the seafront from the council offices in Grand Parade starting at 5.30pm. The parade will culminate at Madeira Drive.

Don't miss your Argus tomorrow for a four-page special on Albion's big day out.

Are you going to the parade? Send your pictures and videos to news@theargus.co.uk or email 80360 with the catchline SUPIC.

I won the Tiddly-Winks & Snakes & Ladders Championship this year and funded out my "own" pocket the celebrations hosted by my neighbour. Who is funding the civic reception hosted by B&HCC?

I would presume BHCC are funding the civic reception on our behalf. It's a clever idea, by having a council we don't need to get together to have a whip round whenever something needs doing.

And if they brave the trains and the rain, they won't find many council offices in Grand Parade! Perhaps the Argus means Grand Avenue?
