A vicar has received a prestigious award.
Reverend Erika Howard, of St Mary's Sompting and St Peters Cokeham, has been appointed a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in recognition of her role in the community and her involvement in contemporary issues.
The society has been established for more than 250 years and is renowned for being a cradle of enlightened thought and social progress.
